Background
This annual conference of the association of State and Tribal AML programs will feature technical sessions, workshops, tours, and the annual business meeting of the Association.

Topics Covered
Administrative and technical aspects of abandoned mine land reclamation.

Target Audience
State, Tribal, and Federal Program staff, consultants, and university personnel that deal with Abandoned Mine Land Reclamation or reclamation issues.  Normal attendance from 120-250 participants.

TX Surface Mining & Reclamation Workshop, College Station, TX 

Background
This annual workshop sponsored by the Texas cooperative extension program and the agricultural experiment stations will feature talks focusing on lignite mining and reclamation in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi.

There will be one day of talks.

Target Audience
Coal industry, university researchers, and State reclamation staff for the State of Texas and Louisiana. Normal attendance from 80 to 100 participants.
