MCR Training

The Regional Coordination Center is committed to provide training opportunities tailored to its customers, the State, Indian, and Federal staff who administer and oversee the all aspects of the Surface Mining Reclamation and Control Act. The Region supplies instructors for the:

National Technical Training Program (NTTP) based in Washington, D.C.
Technical Innovation and Professional Services (TIPS) conducted by a national team
Mid-Continent Regional (MCR) training

The MCR maintains a 15 station computer training classroom at the Regional office in Alton, Illinois, 20 miles north of St. Louis, Missouri.
